Penang is among the most liveable cities in Asia, and has in recent years been acknowledged for its blend of modern economy, tropical environment of beaches, hills and sea and unique culture and history. Penang’s balanced blend and “liveable” brand are being placed under threat by the oversized infrastructure of the SRS and Zenith BUCG proposals.
